APPALACHIAN WOMEN’S FUND PRESENTS THE 2011 WOMAN OF VISION AWARD TO BONNIE AND JAMIE SCHAEFER

The Appalachian Women's Fund is honored to present Bonnie and Jamie Schaefer with the 2011 Women of Vision Award for their generous, philanthropic work on behalf of impoverished women and girls in our mountain communities. The award presentation took place at the 4th annual luncheon at the Blowing Rock Country Club on Thursday June 23rd. The board and members of the AWF are humbled by the continued support of Bonnie and Jamie, owners of Westglow Resort and Spa. Congratulations ladies!

The event featured speakers Lee Cornett of DANA (Domestic Abuse is Not Acceptable) from Ashe County and Cathy Williamson, AWF Public Relations Chairperson.
